Manager Operations Trade
(Cyberjaya(Pick Up Provided))

  Responsibilities:
  • To continually reassess the operational risk inherent in the business & implement Group Compliance policy.
  • Lead by example through service excellence and drive quality initiative for improved customer satisfaction.
  • Motivate and develop team members to consistently meet business objectives, PLAs and provide opportunities to maximize potential.
  • Provide briefing to Assistant Managers on individual and department performance.
  • Effective communication with peers in terms of best practice sharing to ensure the optimum use of resource is made and that a robust cross training is in place to multi skill the operations team.
  • To have a tight control on Operational losses, potential fraud through strong internal audit and staff feedback mechanisms.
  • Work is organized and processed/completed within agreed timescales.
  • Process is regularly reviewed to identify improvements that will enhance operational and financial effectiveness.
  • MI and other business date requirements are completed accurately and reports are presented to business partners/management within agreed timescale.
  • Maintain good relationship with Business Partners.
  • Ensure all process implementations are completed in timely manner.
  • Issues/Problems are investigated and resolved immediately or escalated to Line Manager.
  Requirements:
  • Applicants must be willing to work in Cyberjaya(Pick Up Provided from strategic locations).
  • Strong International Trade knowledge is essential.
  • Experienced in managing an International Trade operation team with at least 5 years minimum.
  • Well versed with ICC publications (eg. UCP 600, URC 522, URR 525, ISP and ISBP)
  • Willingly to work in US hours.
  • Strong leadership skills evidenced by achievement of objectives together with a track record of development of individuals.
  • Strong organization and planning skills along with the ability to handle capacity and MI reporting.
  • Ability to build and maintain relations with business partners.
  • Able to continuously give feedback by stringent follow up on performance level agreement (PLA).
  • Evidence of strong operational decision making and able to provide analytical support to the teams.
  • Evidence of strong analytical & statistical skills to study trends, make projections and to interpret numeric information.
  • Experience of successfully managing and developing a team in a previous role.
  • Experience of process management skills with an ability to initiate process improvements.
  • Initiate cost controls measures by achieving resource efficiency and managing overheads.
  • High Written Skills with ability to write free format letters/e-mails to customers, Relationship Managers & Business Partners.
  • 2 Full-Time positions available.
